What is this event all about?

• Provide an opportunity for 7th & 8th graders to learn more about the 21st Century program

• To assist 9th - 12th grade Scholars with documenting completed SSP activities

• Scholar & adult resource fair with booths from various community organizations & post secondary institutions

• Information about scholarships (including other state grants and scholarships)

• Tours of campus and opportunities to apply to Ivy Tech

• Seniors will receive FAFSA filing assistance

• Goodie bags are available per student if you register for the event!

Lakeland High School will be hosting a financial aid night for Lakeland students and their families. Questa will be presenting, so come and meet a Questa rep and learn more!

Lakewood Park Christian School is hosting a financial aid and college night for their students and families. Questa will be there for a short meeting to talk over Questa programs, scholarships, and other financial aid tips. Hope to see you there!

Purdue University Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership invite FWCS high school seniors and their families to attend a free FAFSA Kick-off event!

When? 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Saturday, October 6

Where? FWCS’ Family and Community Engagement Center (FACE), 230 East Douglas Avenue, with parking at the nearby Bill C. Anthis Center parking lot at 1200 South Barr Street.

What? Experts from FWCS and Purdue Fort Wayne will offer free assistance to those interested in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

In addition to free FAFSA assistance, the event also will include:

-Food trucks, beginning at 11 a.m. (FWCS high school seniors and one guest each can receive a meal voucher after filling out the FAFSA form)
-T-shirt giveaways for students completing the FAFSA form
-Music provided by DJ Rello
-Games and activities
-Opportunities to win incentives for FAFSA completion, including a Visa gift card, various spirit baskets, and three Purdue University Fort Wayne scholarships
