Inspired by Burger King Restaurants co-founder, Jim McLamore, it's their mission to create brighter futures by empowering individuals and feeding potential through education and emergency relief. Through the BK Scholars program, they’ve awarded nearly $60 million to over 51,000 deserving students across North America. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $60,000 and are intended to offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school.

  • Through the Chick-fil-A™ Community Scholars program, Chick-fil-A, Inc. helps pay for the education of leaders who want to continue learning, while also investing in their leadership development. Every year, at least twelve (12) $25,000 scholarships are awarded to students based on academic success, community service and financial need. The Chick-fil-A Community Scholars also participate in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program, a one-year engagement that includes mentoring and leadership development.

  • Diabetes Scholars is aimed at empowering success through education for people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Originally founded as the Diabetes Scholars Foundation in 2008, the goal was that—in this one small area of life—diabetes could be an advantage. In 2018, the Diabetes Scholars became a program of Beyond Type 1, offering scholarships of up to $5,000 for T1Ds entering college. Diabetes Scholars has provided more than $2 million in scholarship money since 2008.
