The Ortho Scholars Program, created by Questa Education Foundation in partnership with OrthoWorx and leading orthopedic businesses, is here to help students like you gain valuable work experience, receive financial aid for college, and kickstart your career in Northeast Indiana’s thriving orthopedic industry.

This program is designed to meet the critical talent needs of the orthopedic field while helping students achieve their educational goals and build meaningful careers close to home.

Who is Eligible?

Students pursuing certificate or degree programs in fields essential to the orthopedic industry, including:

  • Certificate Programs: Machining, quality, and maintenance.

  • Degree Programs: Engineering, finance, sales, and marketing.

How It Works:

The Ortho Scholars Program supports students in their final 1-2 years of education, connecting you with local orthopedic companies for internships, work experiences, and job opportunities after graduation.

With full loan forgiveness upon completing employment requirements at a local orthopedic company (and Questa partner), this program helps you focus on your future without worrying about student debt.

Internship

Apply for and complete a paid internship at an orthopedic partner.

Financial Aid for College

Apply for the Ortho Scholars Program through Questa Education Foundation to receive $5,000/year for two years as a forgivable loan.

Full-Time Job

Apply for and start your full-time career at one of our orthopedic partners after graduation and receive up to 100% forgiveness for your Questa loan!*

Requirements:

 

  • Resident of one of the 11 counties in Northeast Indiana (Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley).

  • Intent to live and work in Northeast Indiana for five years upon graduation.

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree at an Indiana college or university.

  • Interest in a career at an orthopedics business upon graduation.

  • Cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or greater.
