Questa Awards Over 100 New Scholars for Fall 2023

Questa Education Foundation welcomes its newest class of over 100 Northeast Indiana students selected to participate in its nationally distinctive Questa Scholars program, joining more than 300 scholars currently receiving funding for their college certificate or degree.

New scholars are either graduating high school seniors or first year college students who will receive Questa funding for the duration of their academic programs. In addition to the Traditional Scholars and Parkview Opportunity Scholars programs, Questa funds returning college students and adult learners through the Contemporary Scholars program.

Questa is proud to announce the following recipients entering the Traditional Scholars or Parkview Opportunity Scholars programs starting fall 2023:

Each student has unique interests and passions and will be pursuing degrees in a broad array of fields, including business, computer science, education, engineering, finance, nursing, pharmacy, and medical imaging. Questa Scholars plan to join the Northeast Indiana workforce after graduation, helping to build our talent pool and our community.

Questa Education Foundation’s one-of-a-kind funding provides the possibility of receiving up to 75% debt forgiveness on Questa loans in the Traditional Scholars program. When scholars live and work in Northeast Indiana for five years after graduation, 50% of their loans are forgiven.  Students can receive another 25% forgiveness by attending a regional partner school. Students in the Parkview Opportunity Scholars program can receive 100% debt forgiveness when they graduate and work full-time at Parkview Health for one year. This incentive for scholars to live and work in Northeast Indiana helps our businesses and economy grow and benefit from talent retention. Of the students who have graduated from the program, nearly 75% remain in Northeast Indiana to live and work.

Graduates from Fort Wayne Community Schools can still apply for the Parkview Opportunity Scholars program through July 31. The Traditional Scholars program for all Northeast Indiana students will reopen for applications on December 1st.

Questa cannot serve students without the support of generous donors and funders. Find out more about our programs and how you can support a student at www.questafoundation.org/support-us or call 260-407-6494.
